4-star WR Koby Howard sets Florida official visit

The first official visit is scheduled for Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Koby Howard.

It’s with Billy Napier and the University of Florida.

“I only have one OV set up as of right now, and that’s to UF May 31-June 2,” Howard told Gators Online.

According to the 4-star prospect, he has locked in another trip to Gainesville as well. It’s for a spring practice on March 8, marking his first visit of a jam-packed spring.

Additional programs with confirmed visit dates are Missouri (March 16), Tennessee (March 23), Florida State (March 28), Notre Dame (April 6) and LSU (April 11). Miami, which Howard says he can visit at any time due to proximity, will play host at some point too.

As for the Gators though, it’s a strong sign with them receiving the first visit in March and being the lone program with a scheduled official visit. That is largely due to Howard’s tight-knit relationships in Gainesville.

“I love the relationship I have with (wide receivers) coach (Billy) Gonzales. He makes me a priority on his list,” said Howard earlier this month. “Coach Napier, he just came to my school and texts me every now and then making sure I’m good. I really just like the relationship we are building, and I love the atmosphere at Florida.”

According to Howard, the Sunshine State’s Big Three are currently pushing all the right buttons. The Seminoles, however, are likely in the best spot as of today.

“Definitely I’d probably say Florida, Miami and FSU. Those are probably the top-three schools I have the best relationship with,” Howard said this month.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Howard is the No. 46 wide receiver and No. 327 prospect overall.
