Jordan Travis carted off following ankle injury
Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis was carted off in the first quarter of the North Alabama game on Saturday night. He was seen clutching his left leg after he was tackled by a North Alabama defender with 1:43 remaining in the first quarter. Travis was loaded up onto the cart and taken off the field by trainers and medical staff.
Here is the video of the injury.
Travis has been the driving force behind Florida State’s undefeated season. Losing him would be a massive loss. Backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker is currently in the game for the Seminoles. Travis is currently in the ambulance and heading to the hospital in Tallahassee. More updates on his status will be provided as they come throughout the night.
North Alabama has come out early with an upset on their minds, and they currently lead Saturday night’s game, 13-3 in the second quarter.
Jameis Winston honoring Jordan Travis
Former Florida State star quarterback Jameis Winston is the guest of honor for Saturday night’s contest against North Alabama. But upon his arrival, Winston was showing some love to the Seminoles’ current star signal caller, Jordan Travis.
Week 12’s game against North Alabama will be Florida State’s final home game of the season. It will also serve as Senior Day for the Seminoles’ departing players. Not only that, but the Florida State athletic department has elected to honor Winston Saturday night, retiring his jersey, making this weekend a special occasion for Seminoles fans and players of both the past and present.
To celebrate the present, Winston showed up wearing Travis’s jersey, supporting the quarterback, who has a chance to join him as a national champion by the end of this season.
