Fran McCaffery on the loss to the Terps

Losses can provide teachable moments. That’s exactly what Fran McCaffery was expecting to be able to show his team following a tough defeat at the hands of Maryland on Wednesday evening at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The Iowa head coach discusses the balancing act of using the closing portion of the game to learn from it and also following their business like approach to be able to move forward and prepare for Saturday’s game at Michigan. McCaffery also talks about what went wrong on that final play of the game for Maryland and the struggles on offense during the final five minutes of the game.
