Game time, television announced for Georgia’s final SEC games
Sanford Stadium will be the site of a top-10 matchup on November 11 and we now know when the game will start and when it will be televised. Georgia vs. Ole Miss will kick off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. We also know when the Bulldogs will kickoff vs. Tennessee on November 18. That will be the CBS Game of the Week with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
The announcement was made on Sunday after CBS exercised its six-day option almost a week ago. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff rankings, which debuted on Tuesday. The Rebels come in at No. 10 and Tennessee is No. 17.
This will be just the second time a Kirby Smart-coached Georgia team has taken on Ole Miss. The Bulldogs last played the Rebels in 2016, Smart’s first season as head coach. Ole Miss won that game decisively in Oxford, taking a 31-0 lead into the half and winning 45-14. That was the fourth game of Kirby Smart’s head coaching career.
UGA, however, has dominated the series over the years. The Bulldogs have a 32-12-1 record against the Rebels dating back to the first matchup in 1940. That Ole Miss win in 2016 broke a string of 10 straight wins by Georgia, a run that began in 1997.

Ole Miss is currently ranked No. 11 in the AP Poll and No. 10 in the coaches poll. Lane Kiffin‘s squad is 8-1 on the season after outlasting Texas A&M by a score of 38-35 in Oxford on Saturday. The team’s only loss is to Alabama and the Rebels have notable wins over LSU and Tulane in 2023.
Kiffin has the third-ranked scoring offense in the SEC, behind LSU and Georgia in that order. Ole Miss is averaging 38.9 points per game. The Rebels have that same ranking when it comes to total offense at 6.8 yards per play.
Georgia is 9-0 and ranked No. 1 in both the coaches and AP polls. The Bulldogs are coming off their 10th straight win over Missouri and their 26th straight victory as a program. Georgia has played five SEC games in the past six weeks.
