Kickoff time announced for Oregon’s Week 9 showdown at Utah
The No. 9 Oregon Ducks have been slated for another early kickoff slot.
On Monday, the Pac-12 announced the start times for each of its six Week 9 matchups. The Ducks and the No. 14 Utah Utes are set to kickoff at 12:30 p.m. PT and 1:30 p.m. MT. The game will air on FOX.
Oregon (5-1, 2-1) is coming off a heartbreaking 36-33 loss at No. 5 Washington in Week 7. This Saturday, Dan Lanning’s Ducks will look to bounce back against Washington State (4-2, 1-2), which suffered a blowout loss to UCLA over the weekend.
The Utes (5-1, 2-1), meanwhile notched a decisive win over Cal in Week 7. They are off to another strong start this season despite the fact that star quarterback Cam Rising has yet to play a snap.
When Oregon and Utah met in Eugene last season, the Ducks gutted out a 20-17 victory behind a strong performance from Bo Nix, who was playing on an injured ankle.
“Our guys are hungry to get out there and get to go perform again,” Lanning said after Saturday’s loss at Washington. “And we’re going to be playing a lot of top-25 opponents the rest of the season. It’s a great thing about this schedule that we have. We got tested. I think we’re gonna learn a lot of things about our team throughout this week. I think we have phenomenal leadership on this team. We have guys that aren’t going to quit and they’re gonna come to work and we’re gonna go attack it.”
