Rusty’s Ramblings: Georgia staff on the road on Friday

*** Able to confirm that Georgia will have one coach on the road tonight, and that is running backs coach Dell McGee. Last week he was in California to check in on 2024 commit Nate Frazier. This week he will be seeing another member of the 2024 class play: fellow RB commit Chauncey Bowens out of North Palm Beach, Fla.

If you remember, McGee was able to flip Bowens from the Gators back in early June. It was silent for a few weeks before it became public later in the summer.

Georgia has three commits at running back for the Class of 2024. Along with Frazier and Bowens there’s Pebblebrook’s Dwight Phillips. All three are top 200 overall prospects according to the On3 Industry Rankings, and that’ll be much needed this offseason from a numbers perspective, getting the number in that room up to six in all likelihood.

*** Looking forward to next weekend and the much anticipated back to back home games of Missouri and Ole Miss, I am very interested to see who Georgia will have show up for those games. I expect both weekends to be a strong list, and we will have you covered in full on DawgsHQ.

Be sure to check out the DawgsHQ YouTube page for full coverage of this weekend’s game including both a pregame and postgame show, press conferences and more.
