Seven Campbell baseball players enter NCAA transfer portal after Justin Haire hired at Ohio State

Following Ohio State’s hiring of Campbell head coach Justin Haire, an exodus of Camels is underway for Haire’s former school thanks to the transfer portal

On3 has learned that the following seven Campbell players have all entered the portal since Haire’s hire was announced:

Charles Meglio
Reed Stallman
Jackson Roberts
Dylan Koontz
Grant Knipp
Caden Spivey
Joseph Simpson

On3’s own Jonathan Wagner notes that Knipp could be a huge addition for whoever gets him, although the professional route is still a viable option for him. Wagner tweeted when Knipp entered the portal:

“Campbell catcher Grant Knipp has entered the NCAA transfer portal, @On3sports has learned. He’s an MLB Draft risk, but a big name in the portal nonetheless. 31 home runs the last two seasons. 18 in 2024.”
