Top 50 LB Noah Mikhail eying a return visit to Georgia

La Verne (Calif.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail has Georgia on his radar. The Bulldogs have been on the periphery of Mikhail’s recruitment for much of his process. He’s been highly pursued by programs like Oregon, USC and Alabama.

On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine favors the in-state USC Trojans. USC has a 38.8 percent chance of landing the four-star linebacker.

Mikhail is open to Georgia moving more to the forefront. The Bulldogs offered the No. 43 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Rankings early in the process.

Georgia’s recent addition of defensive backs coach Donte Williams has re-energized Mikhail’s interest in Georgia. Williams and Mkihail have had a relationship for years. Mikhail reached out to Williams in the early days of his move to Athens.

“I had a great relationship with Donte,” Mikhail said. “I got in contact with him over there and he wants to get me up there. That’s a good connection.”

Mikhail has also been in contact with Georgia defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann. Mikhail wants to get back to Athens to see Georgia more in-depth before he makes a decision. This will most likely happen in the spring. The last time he was on campus was a camp day.

Mikhail would like to take an unofficial before he considers an official visit to Georgia.

“I’ve been in contact with the linebacker coach, I want to get back down there and see everything for a visit, they had a camp going on the last time I came up,” Mikhail said. “I want to see everything and see how that goes.”

There are a few things Noah Mikhail has to consider with Georgia

Though Mikhail is still learning about Georgia, he’s gotten to know the reputation of Georgia from afar. The Bulldogs have two national championships in three years. The coaching staff could be set for a few years to come outside of coaches making moves to become head coaches.

Mikhail is high on the stability that head coach Kirby Smart and staff provide.

“That’s one of the most stable programs in college football right now,” Mikhail said. “Those coaches aren’t going anywhere. They’re doing great there.”

Georgia has also become a more well-known commodity on the West Coast. Mikhail thinks the competition level has a lot to do with the shift in perspective of the SEC and Georgia out west.

“The competition level you see in the South is picking up a lot,” Mikhail said. “The West Coast guys are starting to see that and want to be a part of that.”
