MotoGP organisers have taken a dim view of riders electing to skip events to promote the championship, with reports that riders will be fined 5000 Euros (approximately A$8025) for shunning future events after reigning world champion Marc Marquez refused to participate in a karting race ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.
