VQ Podcast: Tennessee striving for good finish, recruiting updates heading into December

Tennessee football is back at work with Vanderbilt to conclude the regular season. What needs to happen for the Volunteers to jump back into the win column and finish with an 8-4 overall record? What obstacles are standing in the way?

It was also a big-time recruiting weekend on campus for the Big Orange. How did the Vols fare with the several five-stars who were on campus?

Quote of the Pod on Tennessee

Austin Price on motivation to play well against Vanderbilt in the season-finale…

“Jaylen Wright is a little over 50 yards from 1,000 yards for the season. I know that’s something that he wants to get to, Jerry Mack wants to get him to and Josh Heupel wants to get him to. So, you would think he would come out and he would be ready to roll. I think for any kid, when they go into a game where they know that they have a chance to put up some numbers – you get excited about that because you have a chance to kind of have yourself a day. For players like Tyler Baron that are seniors or whether they’re going to go through it on senior day or not, whether they’re going to probably come back or not – I think it’s important to end this thing on the right note.”
