Fran McCaffery talks win over Wisconsin

Fran McCaffery wasn’t happy with his Iowa team. The Hawkeye head coach was troubled by the defensive effort of his squad in the first half and that resulted in several starters ending up sitting on the bench. But, those players, led by Tony Perkins, bounced back from a 13 point deficit and rallied to beat Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon.

Following the win, McCaffery discussed the play of Owen Freeman, the play that they installed yesterday that ended up being the game winning basketball by Perkins, and the energy that was in the building on Saturday afternoon thanks to a sold out crowd.
